1. Kinds of personal information which we collect and hold
The kinds of personal information which we collect and hold include your name, address, date of birth, driver’s licence number and other contact details, your domain name(s) and/or IP address(es), the type of browser which you are using, the date and time of contact with us and/or your buying, selling, paying and/or website usage behaviour. We will only collect “sensitive information” (such as your medical or health information, racial origins, political or religious opinions and/or membership of political parties, trade unions, professional or religious organisations) with your consent or when permissible under Australian law and will only use such information for a legitimate purpose and when reasonably necessary.

We may collect your personal information when you complete an Application for Commercial Credit Account, apply for or open a credit facility and/or when you or your organisation purchases from us or sells to us. We may collect personal information when we come into contact with you (such as through meetings, telephone conversations, via email and other written correspondence and from business cards supplied to us by you). We may also collect your personal information from a third party. The type of third party who might provide information to us will vary depending on the nature of your business and the nature of our interaction with you and may include trade referees and public record agencies (including ASIC, AFSA, other government/regulatory authorities and the like).

We take steps to ensure that your personal information is free from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access or modification by securing all personal information, limiting access to personal information only to persons who need access and/or protecting our systems with appropriate technology solutions.
4. Purposes for which we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information
We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for a range of purposes which are reasonably necessary for and/or connected with our business functions and/or activities including to provide products or services to you and/or our customers, to contact you, bill you or purchase from you, to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyse site traffic and usage, improve our website and/or send you information which is relevant to you and your interests and/or to comply with any law or co-operate with any government/regulatory authority. Such purposes may also include the assessment of credit worthiness, including the provision of goods on credit and collection of unpaid debts.

Any failure to provide reasonably necessary personal information may result in our refusal to grant credit or supply goods and/or services.
6. Overseas recipients
We are not likely to disclose personal information to overseas recipients. Any disclosure of personal information to overseas recipients will only be for one or more of the purposes set out in clause 4. above.
7. Access to personal information
You may request access to personal information which we hold about you. We may charge you a fee where access is provided and/or refuse to provide access if permitted by law to do so. We will respond to a request for access to the personal information within a reasonable time period. If we refuse to grant access to personal information we will provide you with a written notice setting out the reasons for our refusal.
8. Correction of personal information
You may request corrections to personal information which we hold about you. We will respond to a request for correction of personal information within a reasonable time period. If we refuse to make any correction to personal information requested by you we will provide you with a written notice setting out the reasons for our refusal.
9. Complaints
You may make any complaint concerning a breach of our privacy obligations in writing to the address in clause 10. below. Each and every complaint will be taken seriously.
